2.they are not perennial, means they do not contain water every time.they are seasonal.
3.the drainage basins of peninsular rivers are comparatively smaller in size.
4.there are two longest peninsular rivers-narmada and tapi. other are - godavari, mahanadi, krishna , kaveri.
