Activity:
Take ice cubes in a beaker and kept it open place for some time.
You will notice that around the beaker there are some water droplets.

 
This droplets formed are due to condensation of water vapor around the beaker. This confirmes the presence of water vapour in air.

●Take a glass vessel which is absolutely dry on the outside. Put some ice cubes in it. Within a short time you will observe that tiny droplets of a colourless liquid get condensed on the outside surface. This occurs because the air layer touching the outer surface of the vessel becomes very cold and condenses the water vapour in it to droplets.If we wet a blue cobalt chloride paper with these condensed droplets, the cobalt chloride paper turns pink. Blue cobalt chloride turns pink in presence of slightest amount of water.
