Any four features of Federalism are as follows:

(i) There are two or more levels of government.

(ii) The same citizen is governed by different tiers(levels) of government and each has its own jurisdictions on the matters of taxation, legislation and administration.

(iii) The authorities and jurisdictions of each tier(level) of government is clearly specified in our constitution. Hence, existemce and authority of each tier is constitutionally guaranteed

(iv) The constitution is rigid. That is, the fundamental provisions of constitution can't be change by a unilateral decision. Such changes need consent of both levels of government.
