Temperature:-it grows well in hot and humid conditions of the Tropical and sub-tropical regions Temperature requirement is 20° C to 30° C.
Rainfall:- it needs 150 cm to 300 cm of annual rainfall. Hilly slopes ideal for its cultivation.
