Answer:

Positive Impact

Production Increases, no doubt there is an increase in production.

The farming operation is work on a large scale

No need for fallow land for the next crop, we can take multiple crops.

The labor dependency is not there

Food security achieve

There are a more positive impact as you know (or tell by “them”), but my focus is on unpredicted or smartly avoided negative impact.

Here are some Negative Impact,

Fertility of soil decreases, as chemical fertilizers are the reason to decrease in beneficial micro-organism, which is responsible for the fertility of soil, maintaining humus in the soil, and providing, not just the main nutrient to plant but micro-nutrients too, as required by the plant on his demand.

Vanishing biodiversity, in the Green revolution the monocropping is promoted, as it is easy to manage. So, biodiversity is getting disturbed.

Increasing pest attack, due to monocropping the food for an insect which is easily available in diverse agriculture is not there so they attack the main crop as there is no food for them.

Insecticide and Herbicide, due to problem number three, we need pesticide and insecticide for controlling the pest.

Herbicide, chemical fertilizer not only promote the growth of main crop but also the other herb, which claims to be a barrier in crop growth, “they” are now providing Herbicide. There also a special case for special herbs and now there is weedicide also.

This all impact on the farmers, but there is a similar impact on the consumer side.

You get food security, but there is no nutritional security.

Bring poison in your plate

The pharmaceutical industry is booming

and no there is another industry taking market share and that is the nutritional industry.

So, this all is some negative and positive impact, which I come to know during my journey, and the lot is more there from the moral and cultural point of view because when there is some change in the system is not within the physical boundary but mental, and psychological level also.

“This the Game “They” played. ”

There are also impact on the environmental side.
