Beautiful Summer Vacation
This summer vacation I went to my uncle’s village in Himachal Pradesh. I was dying to go there. It is a sylvan spot of Elysian beauty.
The rustic villa is on the top of the hill. The temperature is pleasantly cool. All around are terraced fields where pure natural vegetables grow. Beyond the fields are natural forests. The source of water is a stream. Every morning I went to the stream to fetch pure water for drinking and cooking. I had my bath in the stream every day!
My aunt cooked the most scrumptious dishes for me as long as I stayed there. I also assisted my uncle and aunt in the fields and in handling the cows. There was abundant freshness, beauty, tranquility, and divinity in that place. I did not want to return; but I had to. I just loved my sojourn in that heavenly hamlet.
