Following are the three causes for the fall of Jacobin government in France :--

(a) The Jacobin government under Robespierre followed a policy of severe control and punishment. All those who were regarded as the enemy of the republic, that is, nobles, clergy and even members of his own party who differed from him were arrested and tried by a tribunal. If found guilty they were guillotined.

(b) Even Louis XVI was sentenced to death by a court on charges of treason.

(c) Ultimately, opposition to such severe control began to grow and was responsible for the fall of the Jacobin government.

Answer:

Firstly it was the government based on the extreme values and they had established a "reign of terror".

Secondly, people who did not agree to the King's methodology were guilloyined and beheaded.

Thirdly, he ordered shutting down the churches.

All this outraged the people against him.
