Print technology refers to the use hard copy matreials that results from the outcome of soft copy work being printed.
It came to existance majorly due to economic factors that aimed to maximize the use of resources.
1. Economic conditions and intellectual climate.
This aimed at reducing costs in dealing with mechanisized soft copy format. This also easened the passage of information hence reducing time wastage.
2. Technological factor.
Advancement in technology lead to more inventions to cater for increasing technological needs of human beings.
3. Gutenberg's press as it adopted basic designs thereby mechanising the printing process.
