the feature of caste system prevailing in india are
1.the caste system is unique to india. in other countries different people perform different occupations,but in india the occupational structure is sanctioned by rituals.
2.in caste system people have to practise their heriditory  occupation.
3.people have marry within the caste  group.
4.people cannot eat with other caste.
5.the caste system has undergone a grat change due to urbanisation,industrialisation etc.
6. but still in some parts of india  people of low caste faces injustice like untouchability.
