The Tapi Basin is located in the northern part of the decan Plateau and extend up to Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat. The Tapi Basin is around by three rivers. Black soils is the main soil in here. Purna is the main tributary in the Tapi Basin. The Tapi basin is located in hilly region. So in the region forests are well maintained.
