Khadi was expensive for the common people as compared to the foreign clothes so sustained boycott of the foreign cloths were difficult. The movement was not able to attain Independence for India or not even the status of dominion state

Limitations of Non-cooperation Movement:-

  • The khadi clothes were much expensive which the poor people can't afford.At the time of independence more than half of the population were poor sections
  • Another limitation of Non-cooperation movement was that it was not spread to all over the country.
  • Many Indian people like Br Ambedkar don't follow the non-cooperation movement they continues to wear expensive clothes like court pants etc
