(A)MR.ANAGNOS-Mr. Anagnos was the director of the Perkins institutions for the blind. It was he who sent Miss Sullivan to Keller's home to be Helen's teacher. This shows that his concern for others and his willingness to help her. He was also quite fond of Helen and had daughterly affection for the girl. However, when Helen was accused of plagiarism and needed his love and trust the most, he too doubted her and this left her heart and disgraced.
(B) DR. ALEXANDER GRAHAM BELL-Dr.- Alexander Graham Bell was the inventor of the telephone and a teacher for deaf. Helen felt the tenderness and sympathy which endeared Dr. Bell to many hearts. He enjoyed working for the deaf and was very happy in the company of children.Dr.Bell was a true friend and companion to Helen and a person who brought light into her dark world. Helen spent many happy days it's Dr. Bell at his home in Washington learning about his experiments.Dr.Bell was deeply committed to the education of the hearing impaired, which shows that he was a kind-hearted person. For Helen, he remained a true companion and supporter,and it was due to his efforts that Helen was exposed to a whole new world of possibilities.
MR.GILMAN-Mr. Gilman is introduced in chapter 18 as the principal of the Cambridge School for Young Ladies. Gilman-mr is a person who is sincerely interested in making sure that all his students succeeded. He was very helpful and assisted Helen in preliminary examination.However,he appears to be a bit too overpowering and serious about his students. During the second year, he fears thatHelen is ovrrburdenefand Maynot succeed in the entrance e examination for Radcliffe College, and so he refuses study duration and extends her stay at Cambridge.Unfortunately,this lead to Helen leaving Cambridge.This may also seem as a possessive side to his nature,
but we cannot deny his generous nature.
