1. Waxy leaves

It is known as cuticular transpiration . It prevents excess water to leave from stomatal opening and saves the plant from dehydration.


2. Less leaves

When the no. Of leaves is less it barely possible for the plant to loose water through transpiration due to immense heat of the desert.
