The police officials who carry out the arrest or interrogation should wear clear , accurate and visible iidetification and name tags with their designation.
▶ A memo of arrest should be prepared at the time should include date and time and the reason of arrest , it must be attested by at least one witness.
▶ The person arrested , detained or being interrogated has a right to inform a relative, friend or well wisher.
▶ A friend or relative who lived outside must be notified by police within 12 hours.
