1) since helen learnt to lock the door she locked her mother in the kitchen and hid the key where she had to spend 3 hours when she was finally rescued by servants from the window. she also locked ms sullivan in the room.

2) once helen and her companion martha were sitting on the doorsteps cutting paper dolls. when helen find no thrill in cutting dolls she started cutting hair curls of martha. then in return martha also started cutting helen's hair. it was then rescued when her mother came and stopped further damage.
