Aplanospores :-

→Aplanospores are Asexual spores.

→They are non-motile.

→They are found in certain algae and fungi.

→It has a true cell wall.

→It can live in harsh condition due to the presence of cell wall.

→They are larger in size as compared to zoospores.

→example - Phytopthora and myxomycota.

• It is a non-motile asexual spore, that is produced within the sporangium in specific fungii.

• It is a thin-walled spore.

• It relies on passive transport by water currents.

• Aplanospores are formed under unfavourable conditions.

• Example of organisms which produces such spores-
1. Algae. 2. Fungii.
