asexual reproduction in amoeba occurs by simple binary fission.
In this process the parent organism divides into two halves each half forming a independent daughter organism. parent continue living as two daughter individuals. here cell division is itself a mode of reproduction. it invoves mitotic division of nucleus in amoeba.
