Bamboo drip irrigation is one of the oldest methods to transfer spring water using the bamboo pipe. This technique makes use of gravity to transport water from higher to lower region.

1. It is used to transport water over a hundred metres of distance. 18-20 litres of water are transported through bamboo pipes over the distance of hundred metres.
