Amoeba reproduces by the common asexual reproduction method called binary fission. After replicating its genetic material through mitotic division, the cell divides into two equal sized daughter cells.

When the parent Amoeba grows to its fullest ,it's nucleus starts dividing.

The nucleus divided to form 2 daughter nuclei.

Then the cytoplasm expands and divides.

After the cytoplasm divides, 2 new daughter amobae are formed..

Since two new individual are produced it is called binary fission
