human beings have a pair of nostrils. it leads into nasal chamber through nasal passage. the nasal chamber opens into trachea. trachea is a straight tube extending up to the mid thoracic cavity, which divides at 5th thoracic vertebra into primary Bronchi. each primary bronchi again undergoes repeated division to form secondary &tertiary bronchioles and ends up in a bag like structure called alveoli.
