Jawaharlal Nehru was imprisoned for four years by the British government, during which time he spent the period writing some of his most memorable books, that are still relevant today.
Amongst the most famous ones include 'The Discovery of India', 'Glimpses of World History' and Towards Freedom'.
All of them are works of heavy-volume but are rather, quite simple to read for any reader.
