Human body has a well developed transportation system.
The oxygen diffused from the alveoli into the blood binds with haemoglobin and forms oxyhaemoglobin.
The heart pumps the blood to go to the various parts of the body.
The blood reaches to the leg cells and it passed through fine tubes known as capillaries through which oxygen is diffused in the respiring cell.

Oxygen is supplied to the muscles via red blood cells. Red blood cells carry hemoglobin which oxygen bonds with as the hemoglobin rich blood cells pass through the blood vessels of the lungs.
