The Indian Constitution has been criticized by some on the following grounds:

• Too lengthy.
• Uses typical law languages at many places so difficult to comprehend for a layman.
• It is a piece of Cut-Copy-Paste from various sources and lacks originality.
• The Constituent Assembly (the body trusted with a task of writing it) did not accurately represent the true India, as it had members elected indirectly and nominated members from princely states. And was domination by INC also affected its working.
• All of these are cited by some as flaws with the constitution. They can be debated and have been since then and come out as not essentially true especially 3 and 4 are more controversial so not many agree to them.
