The reasons for appearing for the JEST exam-

1. JEST stands for Joint Entrance Screening Test.

2. It is a national eligibility test as claimed by the Science and Engineering Research Board.

3. This test is to obtain Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. programs.

4. The candidates can either apply for computer science or physics.

5. An online application and a fee are to be submitted for registering oneself for the exam. The online portal records the name of the candidate and admit card is generated.
