Describe briefly viswanathan's journey which led him to the realization that every human being is a debtor

It has oft been stated that Empire is a concept whose time has gone; and this has been used to justify that India would have anyway become Independent. Then there is the commonly held impression that the British left after the losses of WW2. And the third, and most common impression, that The Mahatma got us independence. But then I ran into one question: how could an empire, demonstrably one of the most brutal rulers ever in India suddenly up and leave 2 years after the war? Especially when they categorically refused to include Indian Freedom Rights in the Atlantic Charter? This is a matter of documented record, and is made clear beyond all doubt by the letters exchanged between The US President and Winstion Churchill as well as various MOMs between 1939 - 1945. Documents establish beyond doubt that there was no plan afoot to vacate India as late as of 1943-44. This is a matter of historical record; there is no doubt in any of the above.
