Cell is the basic structural and functioning unit of life.
The organelles present in a cell are:
* vacuole is large and the pigment in it is tonoplast.
* Golgi bodies is present near the nucleus.
* Nucleus is the brain of cell which controls all functions of the cell.
* Endoplasmic Reticulum(ER):-
◆ Smooth ER is without ribosomes.
◆ Rough ER is along with ribosomes.
* Ribosomes are protein synthesis organelles.
* Mitochondrion is the powerhouse of the cell where energy is produced.
* Plastid(present in plant cells) is of three types-chloroplastid,chromoplastid and leucoplast.
