As in composting we put the biodegradable waste in a soil which does not cause any kind of pollution or harm to environment and also the waste get decomposed easily..
In vemicomposting we put biodegrable waste into soil and also put worms on it which does not cause any kind of harm to our environment and waste also gets decompose easily even faster than the process of composting..

A landfill site (also known as a tip, dump, rubbish dump, garbage dump or dumping ground and historically as a midden) is a site for the disposal of waste materials by burial. It is the oldest form of waste treatment (although the burial part is modern; historically, refuse was just left in piles or thrown into pits).A landfill is a carefully designed structure built into or on top of the ground, in which trash is separated from the area around it. Landfills contain garbage and serve to prevent contamination between the waste and the surrounding environment, especially groundwater.
