Sustainability and sustainable development are two very important factors that need to find its way in a system and should be rigorously followed.

  • As the name suggests sustainability  means something that is meant to last. If the sustainability of a product or a resource is talked about then it means that this product or resource is being used for as long as possible.
  • As sustainability is discussed now comes sustainable development which is basically the kind of development that should be implemented in the system.
  • Sustainable development is very necessary because it ensures the optimal use of resources such that the present generations can also benefit from the resources without completely ruining it for future generations  and allowing the future generations to benefit from the resources as the generations today have enjoyed.
