Contribution of agriculture to -

The National Economy :

As we know, agriculture supports other sectors of the economy. Agriculture provides food grains that are needed by all. Even all the sectors are directly or indirectly dependent on agriculture. This sector provides food to the other sectors and we know very well, how important food is! The surplus amount of food grains are sold in the markets. If the crops are grown much healthier then the prices are fixed accordingly. It supports the national economy.

Employment :

Agriculture sector provides employment for small labourers, poor people and many other. It offers a fair chance for them to engage in the agricultural activities. But agriculture provides seasonal employment or maybe unemployment.

Output :

Agriculture sector helps the soil to nourish its fertility. It produces crops. The waste obtained from crops, like hay are given to animals as food. The surplus amount of grains are sold in the markets that helps them to earn their livelihood.
