The current government strategy for poverty alleviation is promotion of economic growth and targeted anti-poverty programs. The government has released many programmes like Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 and Prime Minister Rozgar Yozana which have targeted various groups of people under poverty and helps raise their standard of living.

Hope this is helpful and please mark as brainliest.

poverty alleviation meant to set of measures both economic and humanitarian which intends to reduce poverty . so it is clear that one of the major focus is on promotion of economic growth to provide more opportunities and resources so that poor can also take advantage . second is on targeting anti - poverty scheme like of NREGA
