Major Steps in Curriculum Development

The curriculum design process takes information from a subject matter expert and, through much iteration, creates instruction. But how does information from an expert get translated into educational content that is effective for learners? It goes through four steps of design. In each step are important team members including project managers, instructional designers, writers, copy editors, and subject matter experts. The team works together to create effective content.

Curriculum development process includes the completely organized information of what will be taught, how it will be taught and who will taught. Mainly there are four steps of curriculum development. First of them is the formation of educational objectives, second one is the learning experience, third one is the effective and efficient organization which include theory and clinical and fourth one is the evaluation of the curriculum.
