Answer:There are 2 main classifications of leukocytes depending upon the presence of granules:
Granulocytes which have granules.
Agranulocytes which do not have granules
The granules are tiny sacs which contain enzymes to protect against harmful microorganisms
Example of granulocytes are:Acidophils,basophils,eosinophils and neutrophils.
Example of agranulocytes are:lymphocytes and monocytes
Granulocytes like neutrophils engulf the germs through a process called phagocytosis while agranulocytes produce antibodies
