The circulation of blood in human beings occurs in two pathways. The circulation completes in four types of vessels:-

  1. Arteries - These vessels carry oxygenated blood from the left side of the heart to different parts of the body by dividing into different small capillaries.
  2. Veins - These vessels carry the de oxygenated blood (carbon rich blood) from different parts of the body to the Right Auricle of the heart.
  3. Pulmonary Artery - This vessel carries the de oxygenated blood (carbon rich blood) from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs.
  4. Pulmonary Veins - This vessel carries the oxygenated blood from the lungs to the left auricle of the heart. And then again this oxygenated blood is supplied to different parts of the body through arteries and this cycle continues.

I hope this will help you....

Double circulation system is usually found in complex organisms like us, humans. It has two parts- Pulmonary & systemic.

Let's start from pulmonary circulation.

The right ventricle pumps the deoxygenated blood into the lungs and it's returned in the left auricle. Simultaneously in systemic circulation,

The left ventricle pumps blood to all parts of of the body and returns back in the right auricle. Valves in heart check that the blood flows in one direction only. In this system, blood flows twice to complete a single cycle & is known as Double circulatory system.

It's necessary for maintaining body temperature and collecting CO2 from cells and provising oxygen & energy to cells & tissues.

hope it helps ☺️
