Electromagnetic Induction is a phenomena of generation of emf in a conducting coil as a result of changing magnetic flux linked with it due to an external source.

We can demonstrate such a phenomena by passing a bar magnet through a conducting coil connected to a galvanometer. We would the reading jump back and forth as the magnet is made to do the same. The second method would be to place a current carrying coil next to a regular coil. The current carrying coil would produce an emf which can be which can be linked with the other coil.
