The human excretory system includes a pair of kidneys, pair of ureters ,urinary bladder and urethra
The blood that reaches the kidneys has high amounts of nitrogenous wastes like urea and Uric acid .
When the blood passes through the kidneys, the kidneys filter out these harmful metabolic wastes using the help of the nephrons. The filterate then passes through ureters to reach the bladder
It is stored in the bladder until the pressure built by the urine stretches its muscles which leads to the urge to pass it out through urethra

Excretion is a process by which metabolic waste is eliminated from an organism. In vertebrates this is primarily carried out by the lungs, kidneys and skin.[1] This is in contrast with secretion, where the substance may have specific tasks after leaving the cell. Excretion is an essential process in all forms of life. For example, in mammals urine is expelled through the urethra, which is part of the excretory system. In unicellular organisms, waste products are discharged directly through the surface of the cell.
