The excretory system is the system of an organism's body that performs the function of excretion, the bodily process of discharging wastes. The Excretory system is responsible for the elimination of wastes produced by homeostasis.

Excretory System Functions:

Collect water and filter body fluids.

Remove and concentrate waste products from body fluids and return other substances to body fluids as necessary for homeostasis.

Eliminate excretory products from the body.

Organs of excretion make up the excretory system. They include the kidneys, large intestine, liver, skin, and lungs. The kidneys filter blood and form urine. They are part of the urinary system, which also includes the ureters, bladder, and urethra.

It is one of the systems of the human body through which the elimination of waste and toxic materials happens.

Excretion means separation of waste and toxic substances like urea , sweat etc.

The elimination of this substance are essentially required because without its removal from the body it can harm the body in many ways.
