Features Of Lycopsida
Cyclostigma, an abundant and widespread lycopsid from the Late Devonian and Early Carboniferous, reached a height of at least 8 m.
It had a pattern of dichotomous branching and leaf cushions that were similar to those of the Carboniferous Lepidodendrales, but it had a rooting structure with short, blunt lobes.
