In Drury Lane, Griffin faced a lot of difficulties. One such example is that Griffin had no clothes to wear. As a result, when he walked through the streets here, dirt accumulated all over his body. This made him appear hideously visible. Also, he had no place where he could take shelter. To add to the misery, Griffin found that he could not eat peacefully without drawing the attention of other people around him and exposing his invisible face.

Answer:Griffin was feeling helpless and relatively cold. He was thinking of a way to let himself keep alive from the shivering cold body. Never had he thought that he would face such a difficult situation where his life is at stake. He thought of at way to keep himself warm and get some money.
