Helen's love for nature:

  • Helen's love for nature was all due to her teacher Anne Sullivan, who guided and encouraged her in having an emotional connection towards nature all along her life.
  • Her teacher concentrated more on teaching her about the beauty of nature, instead of her academic subjects.
  • Her love for nature never affected after having an unpleasant experience with its ghastly face but she took some time to get over it. Though nature fascinated and comforted Helen, it also terrified her.
  • She learnt about the unpredictability of nature, when she climbed a tree once, with full of fear in her heart.
