Helen Keller's life was full of achievements as well as struggles.

Ever since her childhood, Helen had faced countless struggles because of being both blind and deaf. She had difficulty in reading, speaking and many other spheres. However, after the arrival of her teacher she succeeded in overcoming many of her difficulties.

She faced many struggles in school/ college life as well. In the Wright Humason School For The Deaf she did not make as much progress in vocal culture and lip reading as she thought which saddened her. Moreover, in the Cambridge School for Young Girls, she could not have her books embossed in time and also had to copy her Latin in braille.

Helen had a hard time learning how to speak as well. She could not see the emotions of the speaker and could only feel their throat and tongue placement as they spoke. She had to practice a lot before she could speak.

Despite so many struggles, Helen Keller made strides in many spheres of life. In the Cambridge School, she passed in all subjects and even received honours in English and German. Moreover, she learnt how to speak properly. She proved herself to be a capable human being despite her many struggles.
