1. Saprophytic

It is the mode of nutrition in which an organism cannot make its own food and depends on other organisms for food. All the animals including man, most bacteria and some fungi have heterotrophic mode of nutrition and these organisms are called heterotrophs.There are 3 types of this nutrition:
