1. Hitler tried to capture Bavaria and capture Berlin, but he failed and was arrested, tried for treason, but later released.
2. He joined a group called German Workers Party, which he subsequently took over and renamed it as National Socialist German Workers Party, which became the Nazi party.
3. After 1929, banks collapsed and businesses were shut due to Great Economic Depression. In such a situation, Nazi propaganda stirred hopes of a better future.
4. In 1928, the Nazi party got no more than 2.7 percent votes in the German parliament - Reichstag
5. But, by 1932, Nazi party became the largest party in Germany with 37 percent votes.

Cheers!!
