COAL IS FORMED BY THE PROCESS OF CARBONISATION BECAUSE IT MAINLY CONTAIN CARBON. THE PROCESS GOES LIKE THIS, WHEN DEAD VEGETATION IS BURIED UNDER THE SOIL IN THE SOILUNDER HIGH TEMPERATURE AND HIGH PRESSURE IT GETS SLOWLY CONVERTED TO COAL.
