Describe how a change in the environment could lead to increased immigration or emigration

To be honest it totally depends on the conditions of the environment. If the environment is war torn then it will obviously cause people to flee from there and will cause more people to immigrate for that certian type of land. The way  these things can increase is that more and more people do not have the certain crops or the right amout of land to survive or sustain them for a long time and thetn are forced to leave their country.
