We are honored that Help Animals India is funding our drip irrigation system, as it is the best solution for utilising water resources.
Climate change is real and drought is stressing South India. Karuna Society’s hundreds of rescued animals need food and cannot always depend on donations.
What is the solution? Ahimsa Organic with organic aruyvedica products for sale was born and all profits from this will benefit the sanctuary animals. (Order available only within India at the present time.)
On four acres outside the wildlife area at Karuna Society, more than 120 drumstick leaf trees, many lemon grass shrubs and tulsi are being planted. The produce will be sold to Ahimsa Organic. We have also planted countless pumpkin seeds and other Indian vegetable varieties to feed the animals and to be sold in the Karuna shop.
Slowly all our projects are coming together in a wholesome way, interconnected with each other and supporting each effort.
