When there is a arms race every country involved in it begins to build up its army and buys alot of arms for the war..As war is a destruction to human life it's a waste of resources as no country wins or losses in war

Arms race result in large expenditure of resources into circumstantial situation or more of a protective/ defensive measure . It's highly expensive to maintain it and these resources can be used for and in favour of other fields , development in which may result is father benefits .
