The next would probably be ustad bismillah Khan the shehnai maestro,playing his instruments the shehnai was traditionally played at royal courts,temples and weddings ustad bismillah Khan brought shehnai to the classical stage.the credit for shehnaifully goes to him.

Bismillah Khan got the 'big break"in 1938.he was declared the best performer the all India music conference in Allahabad. he got the award for it just at the age of fourteen .with the all India ratdioin Lucknow in 1938.he soon became a famous shehnai maestro and often heard on radio.

Bismillah Khan played the shehnai on 15 August 1947at red fortin Delhi.the event was historical he was the first indian to greet the nation during the India s first independence day.
