process is called crystallization.

To make crystals of copper sulphate (CuSO4

) take a cup full of water (H2O) in a

beaker and add sulphuric acid (H2SO4

). Heat the water, when it starts boiling add

CuSO4 powder to it slowly while stirring it continuously. Continue adding CuSO4

powder till no more of it can be dissolved (make saturated solution). Now allow it

to cool. Do not disturb the solution while cooling. After some time you will see

crystals of CuSO4
