The following steps are followed to prepare crystals of copper sulphate:
a)Take 10 ml of water in a beaker.
b)Add 3 drops of dilute sulphuric acid to water.
c) Heat the mixture of water and acid.
d) When the mixture boils add copper sulphate and stir continuously.
e) Add Copper Sulphate slowly till no more of it dissolves.
f) Filter the solution
g) Allow the solution to cool
h) As the solution cools shiny crystals form

Crystallization is the process by which we can obtain Crystals of copper sulphate. In this process, a few drops of dilute sulphuric acid is added to water. The water is boiled & as it starts boiling, copper sulphate powder is added with stirring. The powder must be added on till the solution
becomes saturated.
