This freedom was very hardly fought by the people of south africa to abolish white minority rule. several freedom leaders were arrested. people were temporarily silenced by putting them in jail or arresting them. seeing that the the south african people were large in number and lots of violence occurring in south africa against apartheid. the white minority rule was abolished and democracy was formed in south africa . nelson mandela was the first president of south africa.
